Eva might have danced the line of provocativeness with her Calvin Klein’s Underwear Ads and Behind-the-Scene’s Video, but her new commercial for the company’s “Secret Obsession” perfume is proving to be too hot for TV.
A few months ago the short TV ad which features a completely nude Eva was banned in the US for displaying the Cuban born Actress’ infamous nipple. The very same nipple that was exposed in last years “We Own the Night” (Caps and Clip HERE) which was the reason behind the movie’s R rating.
Well holding true to a promise by Calvin Klein president, Tom Murry, the company is pushing forward with the nipply ad even though it has been banned from American TV sets by releasing it to the public.

Well Eva’s willingness to “Do anything for a role”, and her “What ever you want Mr. Cameraman” attitude has been paying off. Eva, who holds the 7 spot on Maxim’s Hot 100 two years running is part of Calvin Klein’s new ad campaign for both their underwear clothing line and the brand’s perfume: Obsession.
Why use a drug-free actress with a voluptuous body to represent the company’s clothes instead of the industry’s usual drug free-basing models? Calvin Klein president, Tom Murry, had this to say about Eva’s extra wide underwear line:
“This is a departure from more slender body types that have typically been used in Calvin Klein Underwear ads. But this is not so much about a trend of being more curvaceous. This [bra] product is made for a curvaceous woman.”
So far Clavin Klein’s new risqué campaign hasn’t payed off. Recently a commercial for the brand’s perfume, Obsession, that featuring a nude Eva Mendes was banned in the U.S. We havn’t been able to track down a copy yet, but as soon as we do we’ll be sure to post it.
So to promote the company’s underwear line Calvin decided to go with these less obscene photos. The new ads were photographed by Steven Meisel (the same photographer who took Eva’s topless pictures for Italian Vogue) show Mendes wearing the company’s trademark bra and thong but hide the Latina’s sovereign assets.
Once again, whoring yourself out never seems to fail in Hollywood.
A new trailer for Frank Miller’s (Sin City & 300) newest CGI-tasic film, The Spirt, was just leaked online. This new clip shows off the movie’s plethora of mega-hotties including Eva Mendes, Scarlett Johansson, Jaime King, Paz Vega, and Sarah Paulson.
