Clothing lines, perfumes and football game defeats aren’t the only things with Jessica Simpson’s name attached to it. A new beer company based in Dallas, Texas is being endorsed by the 28 year old singer.

Beering company Stampede is using Jessica in a new marketing campaign for their new beer, Stampede Light Plus: A beer “infused with B vitamins, folic acid, and folate” (yummy), and which the company claims is “Simpson’s new favorite beer “.

In a new ad (photo below) entitled “Be Smart Drink Smart”, a very cleavy Jessica appears with an image of the new beer and this quote:

“I work out and take care of myself. But I also like a cold beer once in a while. That’s why I made the smart choice with a smart beer. Sampede Light, it’s beer plus.”

I didn’t realize Jessica needed money that bad.

Jessica describes her new fragrance:

The former Dallas Cheerleader has worked her way up from mediocre roles in shows like Dawson’s Creek, Supernatural, and Alias to co-starring in NBC’s new action drama “Life”. Now the 28 year old actress Sarah Shahi, best known as the Mexican-American DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales in Showtime’s lesbian drama The L Word, is being featured in Esquire Magazine’s September 2008 issue.

Here’s a small excerpt from the magazine:

She’s really close with her mom, who — even for child-beauty-pageant-obsessed Texas (yes, she entered Shahi in those, too) — seemed to have unorthodox child-rearing principles. “When I was in seventh grade, I was already a C cup,” Shahi says. (By tenth grade, by the way, she was a double D, though she’s in much better shape now and back to a C. My journalistic skills were particularly sharp during this part of the interview.) When Shahi was in junior high, her mom, insisting she take pride in her body, would make her wear half shirts. “She wouldn’t even buy me a bra, because she thought it would hinder my growth. Heidi and Spencer were on air with Ryan Seacrest early Monday morning to talk about the couple’s called off engagement, to which Heidi told Ryan “I need a new ring… And a new proposal!”, and Heidi’s new single “Overdosin” (click at own risk).

Ryan, the cunning interviewer that he is, used Heidi’s music as a way to squeeze some added information about the couple’s private life:

Ryan Seacrest: Tell me what’s happening with your music? I read that you were going to release a Christian album.
Heidi Montage: Yea, eventually I definitely want to do that. Um, Thats something really important to me and I’ve grown up, y a know, in church and singing hill songs and Christian songs and that was really what I started singing first of all. So thats really my roots and my passion and um…

RS: Well I would think then, based on your faith, that you’d be wanting to get married sooner then later so the two of you could actually consummate your relationship.
HM: Definitely. I agree. I definitely agree with that. Talk to the man right here.

RS: Because I image you’ve been waiting. You’ve Waiting until that big day.
HM: I have. I have.
Douche Bag Spencer: You know it. We don’t sin over here.

RS: I mean. You can sleep with other people but you can’t sleep with him until your married.Thats the rule.
HM: I’m not sleeping with anyone.
DBS: What? What? I don’t know those rules.

RS: That must be tough though ya know? Knowing how she’s so religious and waiting until she gets married. Is that frustrating for you Spencer?
DBS: I mean I tried to pop the question two years here. Come on now

RS: Why does he always pop it on Friday after a cocktail?
HM: Yea not a good idea. Maybe Sunday mornings.
DBS: It was just a glass of champagne.

The 31 year old actress who was featured on the cover of Playboy Magazine’s September 2008 issue talks about her embarrassing nude scene in the movie:

It was my first nude scene and it wasn’t supposed to be me. I had a body double and we had some complicating factors with her. It was sort of a last minute thing, where I said, ‘I’ll just go ahead and do this.’ I was really uncomfortable. This crew that I’d been working with, that knows me when I put on my producer hat, suddenly sees me naked. It was really humiliating.
